Prayer for the Western United States

Creator God, God of wind and rain and fire and storm, we pray for all impacted by the fires in the western US, especially our companions in the Northwest Intermountain Synod. Bless and strengthen the work of the firefighters and all who are working to provide support and relief, and grant strength and patience to all who will engage in acts of recovery and rebuilding. Knit us together in love and service for all your creation, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
